So my mind is officially
in Christmasland..
where time doesn't exist..
and I can't stop drinking coffee..

We are visiting Santa at the mall today..
I have always been slightly leery of
people dressed up in costumes..
Don't even get me started on Halloween..
all I'm gonna say is that I
accidently punched a clown
at Knot's Scary Farm..
and I am never going back!

But I think Santa will be much more..
inviting..
and slightly less punch worthy..

So here are my last set
of free printable finds
for your Xmas presents..
enjoy, print, and be merry!

Inspired Wrappings Part 3....

It's getting closer..
I can smell Christmas everywhere..
and somewhere the chipmunks are singing
I just know it!

So here are some more wrapping inspirations..
because I know..
there are still, somewhere
 gifts left to be wrapped..
especially in my house..

I love these pillow boxes from armelle..
they are classically festive..
and they would look great
with the jewelry she sells in it..
I definitely have a few of her necklaces
on my Christmas List..
like this one and this one..
(image from armelle)

I love this anthropologie wrapping..
Which I saw over on Oh Joy!
I did see it in the store too.
But I didn't even check the price..
I will be looking for it after Christmas..
fingers crossed there will be some on sale.

DIY Felt Christmas Trees...

Alright everyone,
it's that time of year to pull out those shot glasses..
and
trace some circles..
If you want you can fill them first
with a drink of your choice..
but seeing that I was crafting this in the
morning..
I had to abstain!

So here is my drink-free
tutorial on fun little felt trees.

Supplies:
Shot glass (or other circle to trace)
marker
felt
syro-foam cone
scissors
pins
sparklies (sequins)

Ta-da.

Here are some other fun tree tutorials and ideas:

DIY Desert Tray

I am all about the 60 mins or under crafts...
And for this one
all the time was in the wait time..
So thats good for me!

Seriously,
I have been dying to do this forever..
I just hadn't found the right plate..
until this weekend at Z Gallery..

In total this craft was only $8..
and half of that was in the glue..
which is great cause it's reusable!

The plate was only 3 bucks
and I found the candlestick holder
at the Dollar Tree..

So here is my new holiday dessert tray!

Ta-Da...

DIY Christmas Vases..

So..
I have completed one of the ideas
that I was inspired to do after
reading BHG..
So exciting..

In the magazine..
they showed a frosted vase that was
made by spray painting the inside of the vase
I couldn't find the frost spray paint..
but I found this brushed metallic spray..
and I was quite pleased actually..

The spray was the most expensive part actually..
I think that it was eight bucks..
but I used a coupon..
so it was a bit less..
and the vases were from the Dollar Tree..
left over from our last party..

 Pretty nice I thought..
and it really only took about five minutes..
and then dry time..

So I did three more!

It took a while to figure it out just right..
so there were a few runny spots..
but you just turn those sides to the back!

And ta-da..
here's some of my DIY Christmas Decor..
I got carried away and spray painted some branches too!
Turned out to be a fun little Christmas Branch Tree..
Dangling with sparkly ornaments
from the dollar section of Target..
not too shabby!

Happy Crafting!

I mean come on..
who wouldn't..

I have a few little DIY's

after going through just half
of the winter magazine..
I got some of the supplies today in fact!

Until those are ready to share,
here are a few of my favorite things from
their website..

These few selections are great
because they would be easy for
anyone to put together..
just my type of DIY..

Holiday Wrappings...

So this year.. I tried my best to do some fun wrapping
and I think that it turned out rather nice..
I found postal wrap at the dollar store.. amazing.. should've bought a million rolls..
I will be back for more.. it's the perfect foundation for anything you want to do...
ribbons, stamps..
To make the stars.. i die cut some tissue paper I got from
anthropologie...

All together to make a cute basket..

Luckily.. I have the hook up at Trader Joe's ;)
and I got all these empty coffee cans..
I just tore off the label.. and another fresh start..
and an interesting way to package gift cards,
so that they don't look like gift cards..

At the top.. I used a hole punch to tie either ribbon
or baker's twine through to attach the tag.

I love baker's twine..

I used a die cut to make the trees
and then sprinkled some of Ms. Martha's
Snow Glitter on them..
so fun!

Hope everyone enjoys their gift as much as I enjoyed wrapping them!
