Flower Balls..

Here's a little how-to 

for some fun little

flower balls.. 

I'm using mine for party decor.. 

But you could do them in Christmas paper

and even use them as ornaments.. 

Start with a Styrofoam ball.. 

via the dollar tree

I used a paper punch to punch out some scalloped

pieces of paper.. 

and then formed them around a pencil eraser.. 

Next you just hot glue the paper pieces

onto the ball.. 

making them all fit together so 

that you can really see the ball anymore.. 

Ta-da.. 

I glued some ribbon on them too

for hanging.. 

enjoy!

I'm feeling a little bit quiet, 

a little bit calm.. 

Thinking of beautiful things.. 

deciding what would be a good next project..

deciding when I should bake those 

chocolate chocolate chip cookies 

for my friends coming over tonight.. 

It's all a bit whimsical..

Favor Ideas

So since we have decided to go with the Lemonade and Sunshine 
theme for my little niece's birthday
I have started to look for favor ideas..
I am starting working from the end of the party
to the beginning..
Well, we will see..
Usually it's a whole lot of random thrown together
and hope for the best!

I'm thinking in light pink and lemon yellow.. 

I thought that these would be cute.. 

Filled with some lemon heads.. 

and I have to think about a cute pink candy..

Easter Snapshots...

So here are some snapshots to show my Easter weekend..

First,

 some DIY chocolate dipped rice-Krispie eggs..

Umm, can you say delicious.. 

I found the idea on the Rice Krispie Website..

And the idea to form them in the eggs from lovely Better Homes... 

They turned out pretty cute I think.. 

Then.. 

Some strawberries from the local farmer's market..

Delicious.. and of course, 

got to dip those in chocolate too!

Some beautiful flowers from the farmer's market.. 

Can not take any credit here.. 

but they were very pretty.

And some silly chick cookies.. 

I think that the chicks might look a bit sad.. 

But they sure tasted good..

And last but not least..

So while reading A Cup Of Jo this morning.. I saw this amazing post about linen flowers.. What and idea.. Linen flowers for wedding flowers.. wow.. if my friend's mom didn't make up mine (for free).. then I might have just done this.. they are beautiful.. and last forever.. There are a million more beautiful flowers at Emersonmade.. go get lost there.... but do come back =)
