Pom Pom Inspiration...

A few weekends ago
Poppytalk featured a weekend project..

and I might have run out that same day
to pick up supplies..
I just had to try it..
and although mine might be
a "tiny" bit less glorious than the ones featured...
It was a fun project...
I plan to use mine at my little craft booth
(how exciting!)

*p.s. pom pom makers make it so easy..
found these at joann's..

Happy crafting!

DIY Desert Tray

I am all about the 60 mins or under crafts...
And for this one
all the time was in the wait time..
So thats good for me!

Seriously,
I have been dying to do this forever..
I just hadn't found the right plate..
until this weekend at Z Gallery..

In total this craft was only $8..
and half of that was in the glue..
which is great cause it's reusable!

The plate was only 3 bucks
and I found the candlestick holder
at the Dollar Tree..

So here is my new holiday dessert tray!

In the middle of a million things..

So.. basically.. I have been a bad completer of projects lately.. I have a million things that I am in the middle of.. but I have not been fully committed to anything.. so therefore nothing has been finished..
But here is what I am in the middle of now..
I saw this post on Mary Janes and Galoshes blog a while back.. and I thought that it was so cute and I would make one before Easter..
Here's what hers looks like:

Here's what mine looks like so far.. and hopefully I can finish before Easter..

I have hope..

And then today, a friend and I are making Easter treats.. yummm

Rice Crispy treats that we are going to shape in Easter eggs.. and then dip the top in chocolate and add some love in sprinkle form.. hopefully all will go well and pictures will follow later..

Happy Easter planning!
